Abstract

The invention provides a power supply device and an operation method thereof. The power supply device comprises a power factor corrector, an auxiliary capacitor, a switching device, an auxiliary booster circuit, a controller and a voltage conversion device. The first end of the switching device is electrically connected with the output end of the power factor corrector, and the second end of the switching device is electrically connected with one end of the auxiliary capacitor.
