Problems solved by technology

Therefore, even if there is a very slight gap between the mating parts due to machining or assembly tolerances of the scroll components, fluid can leak out through the gap, reducing the compression efficiency
[0011] Furthermore, to solve the above problems, the scroll parts should be manufactured with very high precision; this results in lower productivity and higher production costs

Embodiment Construction

[0032] In the following, an embodiment of a scroll compressor according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The present invention is not limited to this example. In addition, in the following, the description of other parts having the same structure as the above-mentioned conventional scroll compressor except for the scroll member will be omitted, so the configuration of the scroll member having the distinguishing feature of the present invention, especially The formation position of each stepped portion is described in detail.

Abstract

A scroll compressor for reducing fluid leakage at step portions scroll members and improving the compression efficiency is disclosed. The reduction of leakage and a high compression efficiency can be realized without increasing the precision in the manufacture of the members. Between the engaged scroll members, a high-pressure space is formed close to the spiral center, and among points at which the spiral walls contact with each other immediately before the innermost closed space communicates with the high-pressure space, the innermost point is defined as a base point. The angular distance from the base point to the outer end of the spiral, measured along the inner-peripheral face of the spiral wall, is approximately 4 pi rad. The angular distance from the base point to the step portion of each end plate, measured along the inner-peripheral face of the spiral wall, is equal to or more than approximately 3 pi rad.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a scroll compressor built in an air conditioner, a refrigerator, etc., and more particularly, the present invention relates to the shape of a scroll member installed in the above equipment. Background technique [0002] Figure 8 Shown is a cross-sectional view of a known scroll compressor. The scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll member 101 fixedly installed on a housing 100 , and an orbiting scroll member 102 freely rotatably supported in the housing 100 . [0003] The fixed scroll member 101 has a fixed end disk 101a and a spiral wall 101b, and the orbiting scroll member 102 has a rotating end disk 102a and a spiral wall 102b. The fixed scroll member 101 and the orbiting scroll member 102 face each other in such a way that the spiral walls 101b and 102b cooperate with each other with a phase difference of 180°, and the orbiting scroll member 102 surrounds the fixed scroll member by means...
