Problems solved by technology

[0003] However, in the conventional method of reducing the driving current value of the stepping motor, sufficient motor torque cannot be obtained, and the rotation of the motor cannot follow the driving pulse, causing the so-called out-of-adjustment phenomenon of the stepping motor, which limits the continuous operation of the printer. In the traditional method of time, since the operation of the printer is an intermittent operation, there is a problem that the printing speed (printing capacity) is substantially reduced.

Embodiment Construction

[0017] Hereinafter, embodiments of the printer of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing a brief constitution of a printer according to an embodiment of the present invention; Fig. 2 is a diagram for explaining printing and paper feeding of the printer; Fig. 3 is a diagram for explaining power transmission of the printer; Fig. 4 is a diagram for explaining The installation diagram of the platen of the printer; FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating the paper feeding power transmission of the printing device.

[0018] First, the carriage drive mechanism and its operation will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3 . As shown in Figure 1, the carriage 21 equipped with the print head 20 of the printer of the present embodiment can be substantially perpendicular to the conveying direction (direction of arrow E) of the printing paper 7 through the guide shaft 22 and the guide rail 9. Direction (directio...

Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently disperse and discharge heat generated by a carriage moving motor and a paper feed motor when a printer is continuously driven. SOLUTION: The carriage moving motor 10 and the paper feeding motor 40 are respectively provided to right and left sides of a frame 3 supporting a print unit to be separated from each other. The housings of the motors 10, 40 are provided to contact the frame 3. A paper pressing plate 5 is supported by a boss section 10b of each of the motors. As a result of the above structure, the heating sources (motors 10, 40) are separated from each other and the frame 3 and the pressing plate 5 serve as heat radiating plates so that a heat radiation effect can be raised.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a printer, in particular to a serial printer which uses different stepping motors to drive a carriage conveying mechanism and a recording paper conveying mechanism for printing. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, in printers using stepping motors for carriage conveyance and recording paper conveyance, when the printer is operated continuously, there has been a problem of heat generated by the stepping motors. In order to avoid this problem, countermeasures such as reducing the driving current of the stepping motor and limiting the continuous operation time of the printer have been taken. [0003] However, in the conventional method of reducing the driving current value of the stepping motor, sufficient motor torque cannot be obtained, and the rotation of the motor cannot follow the driving pulse, causing the so-called out-of-adjustment phenomenon of the stepping motor, which limits the continuous operation of the pri...
