Abstract

The method is utilied in the FCS procedure of the HSDPA to transfer the synchronizing information of the PDU send state between the subzones along the IP transmission route between base stations. When the new subzone enters into the activation set, the main subzone transmits PDU, which is unrecognized in the MAC-hs, to the new subzone through route between the base stations directly. Meanwhile, the RNC also transmits the new PDU to the new subzone. The synzhonrizing procedure between the new sobzone and the other subzones is speeded up since PDU in two routes are transmitted to the new subzone at same time. Thus, the invention raises the continuity of data transmission in FCS procedure, speeds up the synchronizing procedure of the PDU queue and the procedure of filling data as well as reduce the signaling overhead between RNC and Node B.
