Problems solved by technology

[0007] The disadvantage of this approach is that one is limited by the resulting contrast weighting of the chosen sequence and cannot purposefully improve the contrast
On the other hand, this type of contrast optimization is very time-consuming, since all the above-mentioned steps have to be repeated

Embodiment Construction

[0028] FIG. 1 shows a schematic diagram of a magnetic resonance imaging tomography or nuclear spin tomography for generating a nuclear spin image of an object according to the invention. Wherein, the structure of the nuclear spin tomography is equivalent to that of a conventional tomography. The basic magnetic field The magnet 1 generates a temporally stable strong magnetic field for polarizing or calibrating the nuclear spins in the inspected region of the object (for example, the inspected part of the human body). The highly uniform basic magnetic field required for nuclear spin resonance measurements is confined in an eg spherical measurement space M in which the part of the human body to be examined is placed. In order to support the homogeneity requirements, in particular to eliminate time-invariant influences, so-called adjustment tabs made of ferromagnetic material are provided at appropriate points. Time-variable influences are eliminated by the regulating coil 2 cont...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a nuclear spins tomography photograph (synonym: magnetic resonance tomography photograph, MRT), for examining patient in medical, especially relates to a magnetic resonance image forming method than can realize interactive contrast optimization and a nuclear spins tomography photograph device for actualizing the method. The optimization MRT image method has following steps: defining a multi-contrast sequence for exciting nuclear spins in a slice of a subject to be measured; defining parameters characteristic of the sequence; measuring a number of contrast versions of the slice in the form of raw data with the previously defined sequence; processing the raw data of the slice, and thereby generating a number of images of the slice that differ in contrast from one another; and generating an image with improved contrast on the basis of an interactive real-time contrast variation of the images acquired by the multi-contrast sequence, via a user interface.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention generally relates to nuclear spin tomography (synonym: magnetic resonance tomography, MRT), which are used in medicine to examine patients. In particular, the invention relates to a magnetic resonance imaging method enabling interactive contrast optimization and a nuclear spin tomography apparatus for implementing the method. Background technique [0002] MRT is based on the physical phenomenon of nuclear spin resonance and has been used successfully as an imaging method in the fields of medicine and biophysics for more than 15 years. In this detection method, the object is subjected to a strong and stable magnetic field. This aligns the nuclear spins of the otherwise disorganized atoms within the object. The high-frequency waves excite the "aligned" nuclear spins into some kind of oscillation. This oscillation generates actual measurement signals in the MRT, which can be picked up by suitable receiver coils. By using the inho...
