[0023] Most candy bars are wrapped with a wrapper film and the desired package artwork, logos, ingredients, etc. are printed on the film. The above packaging is generally realized by the following methods. Continuous packaging film is printed with artwork and the like (usually done by the film supplier and not by the food packager). During the actual packaging process, the product will be placed in the film in an appropriate position so that the individual product is aligned with the artwork on the packaging film. The film surrounds the product 12 and is glued at a continuous seam 14 to form a tubular shape 16 (see figure 2 ). The tube 16 is then cut into sections at appropriate locations to form individual film tubes, within which typically a product is contained. The ends of these tubes are then glued together by heat or cold gluing to form the familiar packaged product 20 (see figure 1 ).
