Embodiment Construction

[0025] figure 1 The prior art shown is a drive for a drive of a shuttle embroidery machine, which was already described at the outset.

[0026] Figures 2 to 4 Both the transmission 21 and the drive 23 for this transmission 21 are shown. The transmission device 21 mainly includes a transmission beam 25 , which is supported by a guide rod 26 . The guide rod 26 is supported in a guide 27 of the machine frame. Such as image 3 As shown, the lower pusher 28 and the upper pusher 29 are movably supported in the drive beam 25, as this is described in detail in EP 1,055,761. The pushers 28, 29 reciprocate the shuttle 24 up and down.

[0027]The drive has a plurality of crank drives 30 . exist image 3 Only one of the crank mechanisms 30 is shown. All crank mechanisms 30 are driven by a common crankshaft 31 . The crankshaft 31 is supported in the frame. Each crank mechanism 30 has a connecting rod 35 articulated on the crankshaft 31 . The connecting rod 35 is hinged on the ...

Abstract

The invention relates to an embroidery machine with a gear (21) for moving a shuttle (24) back and forth. A driving beam (25) of the gear is provided with a lower pusher (28) and an upper pusher (29) to every shuttle (24). The driving beam (25) is guided by a guide level (26) mutually arranged at interval and sliding in a guiding element (27). A driving device (23) is provided with a plurality ofwinch driving mechanisms (30) which are connected with the guide level (26) or connected with the driving beam (25) against the guide level and driving through a common crank shaft (31). The force transmits from the crank shaft (31) to a connecting bar (35), from the connecting bar (35) to an oscillating rod (37) and from the oscillating rod to the gear through a tension rod (39). The embroidery machine needs neither expensive disc-shaped cam, long tension rod nor a swing axle causing vibration problem for the up and down, back and forth movement of the shuttle. The driving of the shuttle is basically with no clearance, ensuring stable operation even at high speed of embroidery.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a shuttle embroidery machine, which has a driving crossbeam for co-moving the shuttles and a drive shaft for driving the crossbeam. Background technique [0002] Shuttle embroidery machines work on a two-thread system, that is to say there is a cover yarn and a shuttle yarn, where the cover yarn is woven with the shuttle yarn for each stitch. A needle with an eye in the front carries the face yarn through the fabric to the back of the fabric, where the yarn forms a loop as the needle retracts. The shuttle is then passed through the loop, in which the shuttle yarn is contained. A shuttle embroidery machine contains a number of embroidery positions arranged in a row and a corresponding number of needles and shuttles. The transmission crossbeam is used to make the shuttle realize the reciprocating motion back and forth. More modern machines, such as they have been described in EP-A-0638681, have a drive beam made of a hollow p...
