Embodiment 1

[0050] Embodiment 1: IPv6 sensor network management architecture;

[0051] Figure 4 describes the IPv6 sensor network management architecture. The network management model mainly includes two network devices: a network management station (NMS) and a network management agent (agent). As long as the host running the management station / agent software can be called a network management station / network management agent. The network management station must provide a user interface as a human-computer interaction entrance. In one network management station, multiple management application programs can be started at the same time to manage different network management agents respectively. The network management station and the network management agent communicate with the network management protocol suitable for the sensor network on the peer layer. After the management station or the management agent receives the network management message of the peer layer, the decoding subproces...

Embodiment 2

[0106] The following is an example of the technical solution of the present invention in a specific application, as shown in FIG. 12 .

[0107] Some electronic devices form a home sensor network, including lights, microwave ovens, water heaters, drinking fountains and televisions. In fact, as long as the device with IEEE802.15.4 module is installed, it can join this network, and can obtain the globally unique unicast IPv6 address and the unique short address in the sensor network. When the node starts, it will start the SNMP agent program, complete the initialization of the module and the object instance, and then enter the loop program, waiting for the SNMP request command from the management station.

[0108] The wireless access point is not only a gateway device, but also the coordinator of the sensor network. It includes an IEEE802.15.4 wireless interface, RS-232 interface, and one or more wired interfaces. IEEE802.15.4 wireless interface is used for communication betwee...

Abstract

The method defines management information base of physical layer and link layer in IEEE 802.15.4 standard. Sequence from back to front is adopted for encoding SNMP PDU. The sequence is as following fields: variables binding list, error pointer, error state, request ID, type of protocol data unit, community, and version. Since node storage management objects will occupies lots of data area, the invention stores object ID in program area statically in order to save limited data area. Object instance is accessed through method of accurate matching lookup. The invention solves management of nodes based on IEEE 802.15.4. Without need of configuring terminal interface at each node, only need of installing terminal interface at a concourse node or a remote node, where management program is installed, user can start up SNMP management program to manage proxy node.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to an SNMP-based IPv6 sensor network node management method, which solves the management and configuration problems of the IPv6 sensor network and belongs to the technical field of computer networks. Background technique [0002] The wireless sensor network is composed of a large number of low-power, low-speed, low-cost, and low-complexity micro-nodes. It adopts wireless communication and dynamic networking. It is a multi-hop mobility peer-to-peer network with self-organization and self-healing capabilities. The use of sensor networks can achieve data collection and fusion, transmission applications and remote control access. It can be widely deployed in the fields of military, environmental monitoring and forecasting, medical care, functional home furnishing, building status monitoring, industrial control, etc. It can use various sensors to sense temperature, noise, pulse, pressure and other state parameters, providing users with...
