Abstract

The invention relates to a method and device for hot spinning several multiyarn threads made of a thermoplastic material. For this purpose, the polymer melt of the plastic material is extruded throughthe die plate of a spinneret in the form of a plurality of fine filament strands. After cooling, said plurality of filament strands are divided into several filament bundles for forming several threads. In order to obtain filament strands as uniform as possible on extrusion, said invention is characterised in that the polymer melt is supplied to the spinneret in several partial melt streams and isseparately guided inside the spinneret in such a way that each partial stream is extruded in one filament bundle.
