Abstract

The present invention provided a systems and methods for production planning. A system for production planning. A MES provides production information corresponding to a preset time period of a production line, monitors processing of work-in-process, and provides processing status information of the WIP. A processor determines a move target for the WIP in the production line during the preset time period according to the production information, calculates achieved moves of the WIP, and compares the move target and the achieved moves. Systems and methods for production planning provided in this invention can monitor the process in a real-time, and analyse and estimate rapidly to realize the resource programming and distribution effectively.
