Benefits of technology

The present invention provides a height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support that can be easily applied to different occasions. The U-shaped support base can slide relative to the support post, and the spindle nut can move up and down on the external threaded section, allowing for the U-shaped support base to hold the formwork at intermediate heights in the temporary support system. The support posts can be quickly connected to any support posts of the support system by providing two connecting spigots with different heights, so as to facilitate rise of the support posts. Compared with the prior art, the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support is easy to install and disassemble, and is convenient for the height extension of the conventional support system, improving the utilization rate of the conventional support component, saving manpower and material resources, and reducing overall construction cost.

Problems solved by technology

In order to set up this temporary support system, it is often necessary to prepare a higher combined temporary support for the slab, as it also bears the dispersed loading from the beam as well, which resorts to requiring more manpower and material resources, and as a result, increasing construction costs.

Abstract

A scaffold post integrated with height-adjustable U-shaped support includes: a circular unthreaded support post integrally formed with an external threaded section, a U-shaped support base disposed around the external threaded section and capable of sliding relative along the support post. The spindle nut is disposed around the external threaded section and located below the U-shaped support base. A connecting spigot, with two sets of fastening through-holes formed to use the support post at different heights. At least one locking pin is used wherein fastening through-holes are formed at two ends of the spigot; where one end of the spigot is inserted into the respective end of the support post provided with fastening through-holes; after the fastening through-holes are aligned to the respective fastening through-holes, the locking pin is inserted through the holes to connect the support post and connecting spigot.

Description

CROSS REFERENCE OF RELATED APPLICATION[0001]The present invention claims priority under 35 U.S.C. 119(a-d) to CN 201821443726.2, filed Sep. 4, 2018; and 18111347.7, filed Sep. 4, 2018.BACKGROUND OF THE PRESENT INVENTIONField of Invention[0002]The present invention relates to a height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support for construction of beams and floor slabs in buildings, and more particularly to a u-shaped support that can be extended for a part of support posts in the temporary support system and a support system using the sameDescription of Related Arts[0003]During the construction of buildings, it is necessary to install a temporary support system consisting of a large number of support posts and horizontal ties on the ground, and place wooden or steel formwork on the temporary support to create the shape for the concrete to be poured in to form the beams and slabs. There are critical positions to place the support system below the formwork in order to suppo...
