A cooling tower comprises a water inlet, a water outlet, a cooling pipeline and a cooling device. The water inlet, the water outlet and the cooling pipeline are arranged on a support, and the water inlet and the water outlet are respectively connected with an inlet and an outlet of the cooling pipeline. The cooling device further comprises a thermal resistor, a temperature controller, an automatic valve, a water tank, a water pump and a spraying nozzle. The water tank is connected with the water outlet via a pipeline, the automatic valve is arranged on the pipeline between the water tank and the water outlet, the thermal resistance is arranged on the pipeline between the automatic valve and the water inlet and is connected with the temperature controller, the temperature controller is connected with the automatic valve, the inlet of the water pump is connected with the water tank, the spraying nozzle is connected with an outlet of the water pump and orientates towards the direction of the cooling pipeline. By the aid of the thermal resistor and the temperature controller, water flow can be controlled to be on and off automatically, and accordingly resources are saved. A ladder and an access door are arranged on the bracket to facilitate the overhauling, maintaining and cleaning works for the workers. The cooling tower is simple in structure and is quite practical.
