This invention discloses a deployable fire-operated slotting device, comprising a deployable fire-operated slotting
nozzle and a
gas pipeline, which are connected by a heat-insulating hose. The fire-operated slotting
nozzle includes two parallel semi-circular heat-insulating tubes, the tails of which are connected to the
gas pipeline via heat-insulating hoses. A sleeve is provided on the rear half of the semi-circular heat-insulating tubes and the outer side of the heat-insulating hoses. A horizontally arranged pin and steel
wire rope are welded inside the sleeve. In the borehole, the fire-operated slotting
nozzle moves the sleeve backward by pulling the steel
wire rope, releasing the two semi-circular heat-insulating tubes and the heat-insulating hoses from the sleeve's constraint. The two semi-circular heat-insulating tubes unfold under the traction of the spring and the steel
wire rope, forming a T-shaped structure. After ignition and with dragging, it can achieve directional fire-operated slotting in the borehole, forming a wider slot, thereby obtaining a larger free surface in the
coal seam, reducing drilling volume, and improving pressure relief.
