Abstract

The inventions are positioning device and method to heighten bridge steel cofferdam on water. The device is composed of reference point, para point and laser casting point apparatus. The reference point contains upper and lower base plates. The upper base plate is used to fix direction and the lower sets laser casting point apparatus below. Both of them are connected with initial steel cofferdam and fixed by stiffening plate. The steps of positioning method: locate upper and lower plates of reference point on top of steel cofferdam. Reckon relative coordinate of the para point in center of para pole. Template positioning thin iron plate is fixed with the two base plates. Locate para point corresponding to the reference point. Steps of glass plate positioning are same as locating reference. In order to heighten the steel cofferdam, set laser casting point apparatus and equip block heightening steel cofferdam to get exact position based on superposition of para point and laser. It has merits of simple structure, convenient production, low cost and can resolve the difficulty to heighten steel cofferdam under float condition of water in bridge construction.
