One side of the second base plane which is adjacent to the liquid crystal layer is provided with a grid and a pixel electrode at intervals; a patterning-processed grid insulation layer is arranged on the second base plate, the grid and the pixel electrode; other thin film layers are arranged on the grid insulation layer and corresponding to the grid, so as to form a thin film transistor; a passivation layer is arranged on the thin film transistor, the grid insulation layer and the pixel electrode; wherein, the patterning-processed grid insulation layer the passivation layer form medium layers with different thicknesses on the pixel electrode, so as to generate multiple threshold voltages between the pixel electrode and a common electrode.The multi-domain vertically aligned liquid crystal display panel has smaller color difference.
