Abstract

The multifunctional network tester based on physical and application layers comprises: a main detection display, which emits electric signal with adjustable frequency to twisted-pair network line and be returned by another testing end, and displays the physical layer link on-off state according to returned signal; and an embedded system for remote hardware and application layer link, wherein the main detection display can also send PING to IP-known host to test ICMP protocol of logic layer, or accesses the fixed WEB in network (or the network host visits the WEB on the display), and decides the based-TCP HTTP on logic layer of between two nodes. This invention can meet connectivity requirement of network application.
