Abstract

The liquid crystal display faceplate comprises two base plates and a liquid crystal layer between the two base plates, wherein, one of the two base plates is provided with a red filter layer, a green filter layer and a blue filter layer, and the penetration rates of the red filter layer and the green filter layer are all smaller than about 45 percent when the optical wavelength is about 590 nm.
