Abstract

The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device, comprising a backlight module and a liquid crystal display panel. The liquid crystal display panel comprises a display module, a power source, a photoelectric conversion unit, a scan driving circuit and a comparator. The photoelectric conversion unit can receive the light emitted by the backlight module and converts the received light into voltage. The comparator is used to compare the voltage of the power source with the voltage output by the photoelectric conversion unit, and to select a higher voltage to output to the scan driving circuit.
