The method for analyzing network environment comprises that a first analysis program is executed by a terminal unit to judge whether using an Ethernet point-to-point communication protocol or not to connect a network, a second analysis program is executed by the terminal unit to judge whether a destination network protocol address is an open network protocol address or not, a third analysis program is executed by the terminal unit to judge whether utilizing a dynamic host configuration protocol or not to obtain the destination network protocol address. The method for analyzing network environment utilizes a terminal unit which is successfully connected with a network, actively analyzes the network environment of a network device and automatically sets the network device according to five different network structures, and then network parameters are not need to be set by the user.
