Abstract

The invention relates to a database conversion method, which is suitable for converting a first database of a host computer into a second database of a mobile electronic device, wherein the first database is provided with a plurality of initial fields. The method comprises: firstly, newly adding a plurality of main fields and a composite filed into the second database, wherein the main fields correspond to at least one among the initial fields respectively; the main fields and the composite field are used for displaying data in the initial fields; and data displayed in the composite field is mutually distinguished through a separator; and secondly, writing data of various fields of the first database into corresponding main fields or the composite field of the second database. From another angle, the invention also discloses a compressible database structure and a database conversion system.
