Abstract

The present invention relates to an unwanted thread formation monitoring device on rollers (3, 16) for textile machine, wherein enlarge of diameter of rollers (3, 16) may be detected so as to detection thread winding. According to the invention, limiting elements (6, 18) with fixed position is arranged near the rollers (3, 16), such that a thread winding produces a yarn accumulation between the rollers (3, 16) and the limiting element (6, 18), and brake torque (M<F>) is applied to the rollers; also the brake torque (M<F>) may be detected by means of a control unit (12, 25) so as to detect the thread winding.
