By establishing a motion characteristic database, an improved optical motion capture data processing method based on a rigid body is provided; and the method stresses on solving the problem that the rigid body structure is damaged during motion, and establishes a dynamic matched template through the motion characteristic database so as to effectively solve the problems of mismatching and error accumulation because the prior rigid body matching only uses a unique match template. By using the information retrieval of the motion characteristic database, the method automatically adjusts length error parameters of each rigid body during tracking and matching, and automatically finishes without manual intervention during processing; and single-frame data processing time consumption meets the real-time requirement of motion capture.
