Abstract

The invention provides a resource management method of IP telecommunications network routing / exchanging equipment based on threshold value control. The method utilizes a data plane ID as a unique mark for marking, managing and controlling a special data plane resource and comprises the following steps: (1) the routing / exchanging equipment collocates a required resource for a virtual link of each data plane of each port and also collocates a threshold value upper limit and a threshold value lower limit of the source; (2) the routing / exchanging equipment judges the amount of data pockets transmitted on the virtual link and sends a warning message or removing the warning message according to different conditions that whether the amount of the data pockets exceeds the threshold value upper limit and the threshold value lower limit or not, and the data pockets are directly transferred; and (3) when the routing / exchanging equipment judges that the amount of the data pockets transmitted on the virtual link exceeds a source value collocated for the virtual link, the exceeded data pockets are discarded unconditionally.
