Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for automatic white balance adjustment. The hardware system of the system comprises a PC host computer, a controllable signal source, a colorimeter electrically connected with the PC and a debugging tool electrically connected with the PC and a television to be tested, wherein the PC host computer is used for controlling the operation of the whole system; the controllable signal source is used for providing a test signal; the colorimeter is used for measuring white balance data and transmitting the data back to the PC for processing; and the debugging tool is used for shielding the difference caused by the use of different main chips of the television to a PC control end. The method comprises: 1) performing overall data test of a model machineand computing debugging reference data; 2) debugging at least one group of white balance mode for online debugging; 3) computing other white balance data according to the debugging reference data; and 4) writing the other white balance data in the television to be debugged. In the system and the method, the all-mode computing can be completed through one or a few white balance mode, so the overall debugging and the overall automatic analysis and debugging are completed at high debugging speed.
