The invention relates to a network navigation system which comprises a network server and a plurality of vehicle navigation systems connected with the network server via a mobile network. The network server comprises a network receiving module, an arranging module and a network transmitting module. The network receiving module is used to receive the current position, speed, direction information and information of a plurality of paths of a vehicle uploaded by the plurality of the vehicle navigation systems in the same direction in the same road section within the same time period; the arranging module is used to arrange the information received by the network receiving module into road section speed information; and the network transmitting module is used to respectively transmit the speed of all the road sections of each path to the plurality of the vehicle navigation systems. The vehicle navigation system comprises a receiving module, a calculation module and a selection module; thereceiving module is used to receive the speed of all the road sections of the plurality of the paths from the network server; the calculation module is used to calculate the time required for the vehicle to finish each path according to the speed of the road section; and the section module is used to select the path with the shortest time as the current running path of the vehicle.
