Problems solved by technology

[0006] The existing sensing unit 10 needs to include three transistors and two capacitors, and since the sensing unit 10 is arranged in the pixel area, the size of the sensing unit 10 will affect the aperture ratio of the liquid crystal display
In addition, since each transistor consumes a certain cross-voltage and generates a certain parasitic capacitance, too many transistors will cause the range of the output voltage of the sensing unit 10 to be small, and too many parasitic capacitances will also cause signal attenuation

Embodiment Construction

[0054] Specific embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below. It should be noted that the embodiments described here are for illustration only, and are not intended to limit the present invention.

[0055] see figure 2 , which is a schematic circuit diagram of a sensing unit applied to a liquid crystal display with a touch function disclosed in the first embodiment of the present invention. The liquid crystal display with touch function of the present invention is similar in structure to the existing liquid crystal display, and the only difference lies in the structure of the sensing unit. Therefore, the embodiments of the present invention are mainly used to introduce the sensing unit, and the related structure of the liquid crystal display will not be repeated here.

[0056] like figure 2 As shown, the sensing unit 100 includes a first transistor 110 , a second transistor 120 , a reference capacitor 130 and a liquid crystal capacitor 140 . Alt...

Abstract

The invention discloses an LCD (liquid crystal display) device with the function of touch control and a touch control panel. The touch control panel comprises a plurality of sensing units, and each sensing unit comprises a first transistor, a reference capacitor, a liquid crystal capacitor and a second transistor. Whether the first transistor is started or not is determined according to electric potential provided by a corresponding scanning line. The reference capacitor and the liquid crystal capacitor are connected in series between the next adjacent scanning line of the corresponding scanning line and the common electric potential, and the capacitance value of the liquid crystal capacitor is changed along with the pressed degree of the sensing units. Whether the second transistor is started or not is determined according to the electric potential on an electric connecting point between the reference capacitor and the liquid crystal capacitor. When the first transistor is in communication status, the first electric potential is transmitted to the electric connecting point. When the second transistor is in communication status, the second electric potential which is different from the first electric potential is transmitted to a reading line. The size of the sensing units is small, which lessens impact on the opening rate of the LCD device; moreover, the rage of output voltage of the sensing units is wide.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of touch detection, and in particular to a liquid crystal display and a touch panel with a touch function. Background technique [0002] With the development of technology, flat panel displays (such as liquid crystal displays) are widely used in mobile phones, notebook computers, desktop display devices and televisions due to their advantages of high image quality, small size, light weight and wide application range. Various consumer electronic products such as these have gradually replaced traditional cathode ray tube display devices and become the mainstream of display devices. [0003] The touch panel provides a new human-computer interaction interface, which is more intuitive and more humane in use. Integrating the touch panel and the liquid crystal display to make the liquid crystal display have a touch function is an application trend in the development of the liquid crystal display. [0004] See figure 1 , w...
