Embodiment Construction

[0066] figure 1 It is a conversion device 10 from a wireless wide area network (WWAN) to an Ethernet network (Ethernet) according to an embodiment of the present invention. Wherein, the wireless wide area network can be (but not limited to) a mobile telecommunications cellular network with specifications such as WIMAX, UMTS, GPRS, GSM, CDMA2000, WCDMA, and HSDPA. In this embodiment, the conversion device 10 mainly includes a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) interface 100 , a Radio Frequency (RF) circuit 102 , a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) 104 and an Ethernet control device 106 . Wherein, the subscriber identification module (SIM) interface 100 is used to read the data in the SIM card 11, such as subscriber phone number, subscriber identification number (personal identification number, PIN for short) and so on. The radio frequency circuit 102 is used in a wireless wide area network, and receives or transmits a radio frequency signal corresponding to the data of the SIM card...

Abstract

The invention discloses a conversion device for wireless area network to Ethernet and a transmission system thereof, which can fully utilize wired local area network with high bandwidth and high stability and provide control to remote devices / computers. The conversion device comprises a subscriber identity module (SIM) interface, a radio frequency (RF) circuit, a digital signal processor (DSP) and an Ethernet control unit, wherein the subscriber identity module interface is used for reading SIM card data; the radio frequency circuit is used for receiving radio frequency signals related to SIMcard data in the wireless wide area network and is used for conversion between the radio frequency signals and fundamental frequency signals; the digital signal processor is coupled with the radio frequency circuit and is used for processing fundamental frequency signals; and the Ethernet control unit is coupled with the digital signal processor and is used for conversion between the processed fundamental frequency signals and the Ethernet signals.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a communication system, especially a conversion device from a wireless wide area network (WWAN) to an Ethernet network and a transmission system thereof. Background technique [0002] The mobile communication network (mobile telecommunication cellular network) provides considerable convenience in communication, so that people's communication is no longer limited to homes or offices. Even though modern mobile communication networks are capable of providing various voice and data communication services, compared with wired networks (such as wired local area networks), the bandwidth and stability of mobile communication networks are far inferior to wired networks. Furthermore, since there are many service providers in the mobile communication network, when the two mobile phones belong to different service providers, the communication fee will usually be higher. Although recently there are communication applications that combine w...
