Abstract

The invention relates to a transformer for an oil insulation test, comprising an iron core, a high-low voltage winding, a sleeve, a voltage equalizing hood, a cavity, insulation oil and wiring terminals. The cavity is filled with the insulation oil. The transformer for the oil insulation test is characterized in that the high-low voltage winding and the iron core wrapped by the same are arranged in the cavity, and the rest part of the iron core is arranged outside the cavity which is made from an insulation material. The high-low voltage winding and the iron core wrapped by the same are arranged in the insulation cavity, and the rest part of the iron core is arranged outside the cavity so that the size of the cavity is greatly decreased to decrease the size and the weight of the insulation oil filled in the cavity. Because of the insulation performance of the cavity, the transformer lowers the requirement on the insulation performance of the sleeve and reduces the length and the size of the sleeve, thereby reducing the size and the weight of the transformer for the whole oil insulation test.
