Abstract

The invention provides a multiple-magnetic pole double-loop disc brake for a traction machine, comprising a circular recess disc, two semicircular armatures, and a plurality of compression springs, wherein the plurality of the compression springs are respectively located in a plurality of spring holes on the circular recess disc, with one ends in contact with one end faces of the armatures; two winding coil groups are arranged on the circular recess disc, with one winding coil group corresponding to one semicircular armature; each winding coil group is controlled by an independent control circuit; one end of a rotor extends into the circular recess disc and an armature central hole, and two faces of the rotor, corresponding to the other end faces of the armatures, are respectively provided with a friction sheet; and a spline sheath matched with an elevator transmission shaft is located in the rotor and is in seal connection with the rotor.
