Abstract

A cosmetic composition is provided which includes a starch, a cationic copolymer having a monomer unit which is acryloylethyl tri(C1-C3 alkyl)ammonium salt, and a cosmetically acceptable carrier. The compositions are used to impart radiance with soft focus effect onto skin. Most preferred as the cationic copolymer is acrylamide / acryloylethyl trimethylammonium chIoride / tris(hydroxy methyl) acrylamidomethane copolymer.
