Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing adsorbent of heavy metal ions in water. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps of: preparing titanium tetrachloride serving as raw material, preparing water in mass which is 0.4 to 25 times that of titanium tetrachloride and preparing thiourea in mass which is 0.2 to 5 times that of titanium tetrachloride; adding the water and the thiourea into the titanium tetrachloride; regulating pH value to between 1 and 9 by ammonia water; slowly stirring for 1 to 10 hours; drying the mixture at the temperature of 100 to 105 DEG C; andfiring the dried product at the temperature of 150 to 1,000 DEG C to obtain the sulphur modified nano-titanium dioxide adsorption material.
