The HTTPS is a secure access protocol based on identity authentication. The method comprises the following steps of: firstly, recognizing an HTTPS protocol stream and acquiring an authentification message in the protocol stream trough an analysis method through capturing data packets; then, analyzing a website certificate in the authentification message and extracting URL information, i.e. a webpage address; and finally, identifying the URL accessed by a user, matching to obtain an URL attribute class through a special URL library and filtering and blocking URLs beyond the permitted range of an access rule. The technical scheme of the invention is adopted to provide a security protection mechanism for network application, solves the problem of difficulty in URL acquisition because of encrypted HTTPS transmission and can fully filter HTTPS websites accessed by the user.
