Abstract

The present invention relates to a sliding operation method of a motor vehicle, wherein the motor vehicle is provided with a driving unit and a brake. The brake can actuate through a brake pedal. The driving unit comprises an internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine is provided with a fuel source, at least one air inlet pipe for supplying fresh air, and throttle which is equipped in at least one air inlet pipe. The deceleration of the motor vehicle in sliding operation is reduced through adjusting the throttle at an opening position with an electronic control system. The invention further relates to a motor vehicle driving unit for implementing the method. The sliding operation method can reduce fuel consumption of the motor vehicle, and furthermore automatic actuation of the clutch is not required.
