The light detecting device comprises a light detecting unit, a reference voltage generating unit and a comparing unit. The light detecting unit is configured to generate a light detecting voltage for indicating the intensity of the ambient light. The reference voltage generating unit is configured to generate a predetermined reference voltage. The comparing unit is configured to compare the light detecting voltage with the reference voltage, and includes a first input terminal for allowing the light detecting voltage to be inputted and a second input terminal, which has the polarity opposite to the polarity of the first input terminal, for allowing the predetermined reference voltage to be inputted.
