Abstract

The present invention discloses a device for detecting the presence of a target analyte in a fluid sample. The biosensor device may comprise at least one reaction chamber and one detection chamber. The device may comprise an amplification mechanism such that target analyte molecules present in the fluid sample may result in the generation / activation of multiple detector molecules and thus amplified signals. The invention also discloses methods of making and using the biosensor device.
