Abstract

An LCD integrated with a solar cell module comprises a first transparent substrate, a second transparent substrate, a cholesteric liquid crystal layer, a third transparent substrate and a photoelectric conversion layer, wherein the second transparent substrate is arranged on one side of the first transparent substrate; the cholesteric type liquid crystal layer is arranged between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate; the third transparent substrate is arranged on the other side of the first transparent substrate opposite to the second transparent substrate; the photoelectric conversion layer is bonded between the first transparent substrate and the third transparent substrate; and the first transparent substrate, the photoelectric conversion layer and the third transparent substrate form the solar cell module. A display device is integrated with the solar cell module in the LCD provided by the invention, so that the solar cell module shares the first transparent substrate of the display device, thereby saving the material cost of the substrate, further reducing the overall weight of the LCD.
