Embodiment 1

[0019] In the winter of 2009, this method was used to control weeds in a 4-year-old Tieguanyin tea garden in Banmian Township, Youxi. The tea garden is located on a low mountain at an altitude of about 550 meters, in the subtropical monsoon climate zone, and the soil is red soil. In the first ten days of December 2009, the tea gardens were fully cleared and weeded, and fertilization was carried out in winter. After clear plowing and fertilization, the surface soil should be properly leveled, and then 1000kg of dry rice straw per mu should be used to cover the terraces on both sides of the tea trees. Since the tea trees are small, the terraces should be completely covered. After the straw is covered, it is properly stepped on, and the thickness is about 15cm. The height of the stair wall between two adjacent stair floors is mostly between 70-110cm. First cut the 320cm wide grass-proof cloth in half into 160cm wide and cover it on the tea garden ladder wall. Then embed the up...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for controlling weeds in a tea plantation. In the method, bare surface soil between tea rows and on the altar in tea plantations is covered by straw or weed preventing cloth after weeding in spring and summer or after plowing and fertilizing in winter. The weed preventing cloth is made of cloth-like material which is woven by adhering non-woven fabrics to propene polymer (PP) filaments. Weeds in tea plantations are prevented and controlled by a physical method, the growth of weeds can be suppressed obviously, chemical herbicide is reduced or even avoided, and artificial and mechanical weeding cost is reduced. Adverse influence of weeds on the growth of tea trees is reduced, soil fertility in tea plantations is improved, water and soil are maintained, and ecology in tea plantations is improved. The method is easy to operate and can be easily accepted by tea growers and has an excellent popularization and application prospect.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for controlling weeds in a tea garden, in particular to a method for controlling weeds in a full-layer covering tea garden. Background technique [0002] There are many kinds of weeds in tea gardens, and there are two peak periods of weed occurrence in tea gardens in tropical and subtropical regions a year, especially some malignant weeds with fast growth, high plant biomass and large biomass compete with tea trees for water, fertilizer, space and light , affecting the growth of tea trees. At present, weeds in tea gardens are generally eradicated manually, mechanically or by chemical herbicides. These methods are likely to cause ecological and environmental problems such as soil erosion, environmental pollution and biodiversity decline. [0003] If the growth of weeds can be controlled, the growth of weeds under controllable conditions can not only increase the content of organic matter in the tea garden soil, improve...
