Abstract

The present invention discloses a work vehicle, such as a compact loader (10), which has a cooling system (46, 56, 58) including a cooling fan (55) generating air flow to cool engine components (56, 58). The fan (55) is shown as an axial flow fan having an inlet throat in a shroud surrounding the fan (55). The inlet throat (42) is under a negative or low pressure, and a duct or conduit (80) is connected to the inlet throat (42) and to a precleaner (68) of an air filter assembly (66) providing combustion air to the engine (18). The negative pressure in the inlet throat (42) causes air to flow from the precleaner (68) to the inlet throat (42).
