Abstract

The furnace is provided with a supply chamber 1 and a mold-filling chamber 2, wherein the liquid level of aluminum liquid in the supply chamber is higher than that in the mold-filling chamber, and a launder is arranged between the supply chamber and the mold-filling chamber. The insides of the supply chamber and the mold-filling chamber are respectively provided with an invasive heater 3, and the power of the heater of the supply chamber is greater than that of the mold-filling chamber. The improved heat preserving furnace disclosed by the invention has the advantages that because of adopting a two-chamber structure, the aluminum liquid in the supply chamber can be purified to a certain degree in the process of operating, thereby improving the quality of the aluminum liquid; the heaters are soaked in the aluminum liquid in the process of operating, thereby improving the thermal efficiency and reducing the energy consumption; and the surface of the aluminum liquid has no radiation heat conduction, thereby reducing the oxidation of the surface of the aluminium liquid, and reducing the useless consumption of the aluminum liquid.
