An information network based on a low-voltage distribution network is of a tree-shaped structure, and can be divided into the following different levels of network segments including the distribution transformer level (tree root), the yard level, the building level, the storey level, the household level, the room level, and the device level (tea leaves) from the root to the leaves, wherein according to the network segment of each level, upper nodes are connected with lower nodes through cable branches, a distribution transformer serves as the root node to induce the network, electric devices serve as leaf nodes to end the network, electrical information generated in the network such as voltage, current, power factors and harmonic waves are automatically collected and processed on line in the nodes of the network segments of all the levels, the nodes serve as information nodes and sources of distributed information of the network, information is transmitted vertically on the basis of branch cables in the network segments, the cables serve as physical channels of the information network, the low-voltage distribution network is informationized to serve as the information network as well, and the power supply and consumption process of the distribution network is informationized so that people can carry out on-line monitoring and management on the power supply situation through the low-voltage distribution network in the power utilization process of daily production and life.
