Abstract

The invention discloses a method for extracting vanadium again from tailing after extracting vanadium from vanadium tailing of a converter. The method comprises the following steps: mixing the tailing of vanadium tailing of the converter after vanadium extraction, sulfuric acid leaching agent and ferrous sulfate oxidant so as to prepare ore pulp; putting the ore pulp in a non-diaphragm leaching tank so as to carry out electrocatalysis and oxidizing reaction; and carrying out solid and liquid separation on the ore pulp after electrocatalysis and oxidizing reaction, thus obtaining filtrate containing vanadyl sulfate. After the filtrate containing vannadyl sulfate is obtained, vanadyl sulfate or hydrate thereof can be alternatively prepared through the conventional prior art; and vanadium pentoxide also can be prepared, or vanadium is further reduced. The method provided by the invention can be used for extracting more vanadium which can not be extracted from the tailing basically in the prior art, thus being a better method which ensures lower cost and better recourse utilization.
