The working principle of the control device of the novel VOITH coupling is that: a belt conveyer electric control system sends starting, stop and emergency stop signals to the VOITH coupling main station control box through MODBUS communication or hardwiring and receives a fault signal, an acceleration finishing signal and the like; each substation control box respectively controls a VOITH coupling to realize control of a coupling oil pump, a fan, a liquid inlet valve and a liquid discharge valve and acquisition of various signals; each substation control box is communicated with the main station control box by a CAN (Controller Area Network), so that transmission of various data and a control signal is realized; meanwhile, the main station control box and the substation control boxes coordinate with each other so that power balance among the couplings is realized.
