Abstract

The invention discloses a wireless intelligent transducer and a method for implementing plug and play of the transducer. The intelligent transducer is a wireless intelligent transducer meeting IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 1451.5 standards, and comprises a network capable application processor (NCAP) and a wireless transducer interface module (WTIM). The method for implementing plug and play of the transducer comprises the following steps: the NCAP sets a network number, selects a wireless transmission frequency channel, and starts a wireless network; the WTIM applies for adding the network, and the NCAP distributes the network number and a short network address; the NCAP and the WTIM start a network parameter storage and timed handshake mechanism; the NCAP loads a transducers electronic data sheet (TEDS), acquires transducer information of the WTIM and configures a transducer channel; and the NCAP starts the transducer channel, and the WTIM sends transducer measurement data. According to the method, the TEDS data are set by defining a communication message frame format; a protocol stack event processing process is started to monitor network structure change; network parameters are updated and stored in real time by adopting an off-chip data memory; the NCAP can timely and accurately identify that the WTIM is connected and disconnected with the network by means of short network address fields of a message frame by adopting the timed handshake mechanism under the condition that normal data transmission is not affected; and plug and play is implemented.
