Abstract

A mixture of sepiolite and lime or sepiolite and calcium dihydrogen phosphate was applied as a conditioner to the contaminated soil for growing rice. By applying the paddy field regulating preparation of the present invention, the rice varieties can realize normal growth of rice in paddy fields polluted with medium and low levels of cadmium, and the cadmium content in the rice meets the cadmium limit value of my country's agricultural industry standard pollution-free rice (NY 5115-2008).
