The invention relates to a
rainwater harvesting and drought resisting
transplanting method adopting butterfly-shaped double-row concave ridges with large pits for deep application and used for
flue-cured tobacco. The method comprises the following steps: (1), land is prepared and ridging is performed; (2), large pits are dug in
ridge bodies according to the
plant spacing requirement, each pit is 20 cm deep and is in a half turbination shape, the
diameter of the upper port is 25-30 cm, and the
diameter of the bottom is 15-20 cm; (3),
fertilizer is applied and mixed with soil: base
fertilizer is spread to the large pits uniformly, then soil dug out during pit digging is refilled to the pits, the
fertilizer and the soil are mixed uniformly, the
ridge bodies which are damaged during pit digging are repaired simultaneously, the upper edge of the refilling soil is slightly lower than the
ridge bodies by 2-5 cm, and a butterfly shape is formed; (4), film mulching and earthing up are performed; (5),
transplanting is performed. The method can solve the problems of effective rainfall deficiency and large drought resisting difficulty during
flue-cured tobacco
transplanting in areas with serious spring drought, saves labor and time, can increase the
survival rate of transplanted
flue-cured tobaccos, promote early growth and quick tillering of tobacco plants, improve the yield and quality of tobaccos and can be widely applied to crops such as pepper, eggplant, tomatoes and the like which need transplanting.
