Abstract

A dehydrogenation method and a device of a ship ballast water management system. A sodium hypochlorite solution with hydrogen generated by electrolysis is allowed to flow into a cylinder from an inlet with a high flow velocity along a circumferential tangent direction so as to perform rotary motion; under the action of centrifugal force, the sodium hypochlorite solution is thrown to the cylinder wall, and a negative pressure is formed at the cylinder center; therefore hydrogen is separated from the solution, aggregates at the cylinder center, and flows upwards and is discharged through an orifice plate, a corrugated plate, a foam-isolating net, a one-way inverted valve, a flow-limiting bolt, and a gas exhaust port; the sodium hypochlorite solution is delivered to a ballast water main pipeline from a liquid discharging port at the lower part of the cylinder. The beneficial effect of the invention is that: with the method and device of the invention, the size of a dehydrogenation deviceof an electrolytic-method ship ballast water management system is reduced by 60%. Testing experiment proves that the dehydrogenation efficiency is up to 100%, and complete dehydrogenation is realized; the dehydrogenation method and device are miniature, high-efficient, and safe.
