Embodiment Construction

[0049] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with accompanying drawing.

[0050] Such as figure 2 As shown, a flow control method between channels in a network hardware architecture based on forwarding and control separation, including the following steps:

[0051] Step (1). Constructing the global topology within the entire network part according to the information reported by the forwarding part at the control part side;

[0052] The global topology construction steps are as follows: figure 1 As shown: Each forwarding piece sends its own link state information to the global topology building module of the control piece in the form of ForCES message through the internal communication network through the link state information LFB, and the control piece collects the link state information of all forwarding pieces. , to construct the global topology structure of the networkware including the control piece and the forwarding piece, and between t...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for controlling traffics among channels in the architecture of a network element based on forwarding and control separation. The method comprises the following steps: (1) a global topological structure inside the whole network element is constructed at a control element end according to information reported by a forwarding element; (2) traffic matrix models for the traffics among the channels inside the network element are established through a Kallman filtering estimation method by using the constructed global topological structure; (3) message transmission rates of the channels inside the network element at a next moment are predicted according to acquired traffic information at a current moment based on the obtained traffic matrix models; (4) reasonable available bandwidth is distributed for each channel by a control element according to the predicted traffic rate of each channel; and (5) the control element updates the global topological structure of the network element, the operation is switched to the step (2) if the topological structure is changed, and the operation is switched to the step (4) if the topological structure is not changed. The method for controlling the traffics among the channels in the architecture of the network element based on forwarding and control separation has the advantages that a bandwidth distribution method capable of avoiding the congestion of the traffics among the channels is achieved, and the requirements for a new-generation network facing the integration of three networks are met.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of communication, and in particular relates to a flow control method between channels in a network element architecture based on separation of forwarding and control. Background technique [0002] As the core equipment of the Internet, the research on the router is of great significance to the development and application of the Internet and telecommunication network technology in the future. For a network device, it is generally believed that the development of its technology revolves around improving device performance and expanding functions. In the past ten years, the development route of router technology has been mainly based on performance improvement, that is, improving the packet forwarding speed of routers and expanding the information exchange capacity are the key technical research contents. Major global router providers such as Ciso, Juniper, and domestic Huawei have focused their research on va...
