Seeding technology enabling wheatgrass to be deposited in snow

A technology of ice grass and grass seeds, which is applied in the field of grassland ecological management, can solve the problems of being unsuitable, affecting the emergence rate, and being easily blown away by spring wind, etc., and achieves remarkable effects and is conducive to rooting and germination.

Problems solved by technology

Although this method can better guarantee the survival rate of seeds, it is not suitable for use in mountainous and hilly areas in Xinjiang
However, the traditional method used on this terrain is to sow seeds manually, and the seeds are exposed on the surface by grabbing moisture and are easy to be eaten by birds or blown away by spring wind, which seriously affects the emergence rate.
Coupled with the lack of rainfall in arid areas, the remaining grass species cannot germinate smoothly because they cannot absorb enough water

Embodiment

[0007] Example: The sowing technology of snow grass is to use winter sowing, and use the lower temperature of the snow to limit the germination time of grass seeds. The ice and snow will melt in the next spring, and the soil will have sufficient water, so as to give the grass seeds the best germination temperature and humidity, and avoid drought effect on germination.

[0008] The present invention comprises following implementation steps:

[0009] 1. Sowing seeds: After the second snow in winter, when the night has frozen and can be thawed during the day, that is, the nighttime temperature is lower than zero, and the degree of freezing of the snow layer surface is the degree. The daytime temperature is higher than zero, and the snow layer is frozen. When the ablation rate is high, seeds of icegrass are directly sown on the surface of the snow layer by artificial means.

[0010] 2. Sending snow: the seeds of ice grass are irradiated by the sun, and the surface layer absorbs h...

experiment example

[0013] The species selected for the experiment was Agropyron taucum (Agropyron cristatum (Linn.) Gaertn. cv. Tawukumu) It is a xerophytic forage grass that was introduced from the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2002 by the Grass Industry Research Institute of Xinjiang Academy of Animal Sciences. In April 2010, it was approved by the National Grass Variety Approval Committee and registered as an imported variety (registration number: 408). This variety has excellent characteristics such as wide cultivation ecological range, short growth period, high yield, and rich nutrition. It is suitable for planting in arid and semi-arid areas with an annual rainfall of more than 300 mm in Xinjiang. It can be used to build artificial grasslands and improve degraded grasslands.

[0014] The tests were carried out in early winter and early spring respectively, and the plots with the same soil conditions were selected to arrange the test plots. The plots in different time periods were all 100m 2 ...

Abstract

The invention belongs to ecological management methods of glassland and particularly relates to a seeding technology enabling wheatgrass to be deposited in snow. Seeds are sown in winter, low temperature of a snowfield is utilized to limit germinating time of the grass seeds, ice and snow melt is spring next year, water in the soil is adequate, and accordingly the best germinating temperature and humidity are provided for the grass seeds. The seeding technology comprises the following steps: (1) seeding: the wheatgrass seeds are directly sown on the surface of a snow layer after the second now in winter, on the conditions that water is frozen at night and ice melts in the daytime, namely the temperature at night is lower than zero with freezing of the surface of the snow layer as the limit and the temperature in the daytime is higher than zero with melting of the snow layer as the limit; (2) deposition in the snow: through irradiation by the sun, surface layers of the wheatgrass seeds absorb heat, and the wheatgrass seeds can sink to the bottom of the snow layer gradually and slowly by means of self weight and the sunlight when the external temperature is higher than zero so that the snow layer melts; and (3) germination: the soil absorbs plenty of snow water when snow melts in spring next year, and the wheatgrass seeds begin to germinate after the soil is unfrozen.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to a grassland ecological control method, and in particular relates to a sowing technology of ice grass and snow. Background technique [0002] Wheatgrass ( Agropyron ) plants are native to the steppe region of Eurasia, and there are about 15 species in the world, mainly distributed in Central Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. Plants of the genus Agropyron are typical xeric grasses, and they are the constitutive species, dominant species or main companion species that constitute the grassland vegetation. They are widely distributed in the vast grasslands of Xinjiang, ranging from plain desert steppes and mountain deserts at an altitude of 600-4000m. Grasslands, mountainous grasslands and even alpine grasslands are distributed. Its ecological distribution range is wide, and its adaptability and stress resistance are strong. It has excellent quality, rich nutrition, and high feeding value. . At present, due to the serious...
