Abstract

The invention discloses a 2D/3D (two-dimensional/three-dimensional) switchable autostereoscopic display device and a 2D/3D (two-dimensional/three-dimensional) switchable autostereoscopic display method. The autostereoscopic display device comprises a light guide plate, a first light source, a second light source and a reflector plate, wherein the light guide plate is arranged between the reflector plate and a liquid crystal display screen; the first surface of the light guide plate is opposite to the liquid crystal display screen; the second surface of the light guide plate is opposite to the reflector plate; the first light source and the second light source are arranged on the lateral wall of the light guide plate; a plurality of fluorescent powder coating areas are arranged on the first surface; the fluorescent powder coating areas are periodically distributed in a strip manner; and the light emitted from the first light source displays a 2D image, and the fluorescent powder coating areas is stimulated for lighting by the light emitted by the second light source so as to display a 3D image. The autostereoscopic display device disclosed by the invention has the advantages of simple structure and better display effect of the 2D and 3D images, and can conveniently and fast switch between 2D/3D two display modes.
