Abstract

The invention discloses a detecting method of road surface joints, which comprises the steps of: sequentially reading data sequences of a road surface image; calculating a first-order central difference value corresponding to each data item through the detecting pile number and the altitude data; calculating a second-order central difference value corresponding to each data item through the detecting pile number and the first-order central difference value of each data item; selecting the data items with first-order central difference values larger than first threshold and second-order central difference values larger than a second threshold; and detecting the joints in the road surface image corresponding to the selected data item. The steps of the invention can quickly determine the images with largest expansion joint existence rate. For a large number of road surface images, the detecting method can improve the sieving efficiency of images having expansion joints, remove the road surface expansion joints in the images and improve the successive road surface damage rate detecting accuracy.
